So. Looks like the US as been involved in kidnapping terror suspects’ families.

I really, really am tired of seeing a country that should be one of the greatest places to live, just be an utter satanic shitpile mess. I just want to puke blood.

Really. Fuck all those guys in the Bush Administration. I’m done with forgiving them for anything, ever. I don’t care how much penance they do, it will never, ever be enough. If it was possible for me to change some DNA in me so I’d no longer be related to them on any level, I’d do it.

I mean, I don’t even feel surprised at this. I don’t even question if the story is valid. I am convinced that we have met the enemy and he is us, that evil walks amongst us.

Sorry. I’m just fucking tired of it. I’m sure you all understand.

I’m tired, too. So I should leave. Because why would I want to stay and change the place I was born and love? That’s work, and work is hard! So yes, I should leave, because it’s easier to leave than to work for change. GWB, thanks for the lesson!

What I find interesting is how liberals who complain about the state of things are always told to “leave the country.”

Why is it that so many conservatives just want the dissenters to go away? They’re like people with weak faith, who look at any challenge to it as a threat to their god-an invalidation of everything, when really it’s just a question. Crazy, isn’t it?

I don’t think it’s nearly that simple. I mean, I think that with the way the world is working, the only way we’re going to survive is to get along as a group. Just saying: ‘The liberals will make it all right’ is just too naieve and shortsighted. It’s no better than the conservatives saying: Hey, we’re going to fix it all now! and then ignoring things like science and common sense.

It’s the tyranny of ideas that we need to worry about, or rather the enforcement of that tyranny. Because if we don’t look out for the people, then we’re no better than those who’s ideas we profess to fight against.
