Another Obama VP Post

I’ll get to The Goat’s post on the VP later. First, I want to take a brief look at how Obama should handle this Hillary-for-VP nonsense. In honor of the Celtics-Lakers NBA Finals matchup that starts tomorrow, let’s see how THEY would have handled this situation…

So, let’s review, shall we? Hillary is Kurt Rambis, Obama is Kevin McHale, and the basket is the VP nomination. See how easy that was!

I remember watching that live on tv when I was a youngun. Best. Clothesline. Ever. My only regret is that he didn’t do it to Kareem instead.

It’s been many years since I’ve felt the bloodlust-laced twinges of Laker Hatred, but once upon a time, I placed them even above (below?) the Yankees on my personal Sports Shitlist. It’s good that their best player (Kobe, obviously) is so thoroughly loathesome, so I won’t feel any sympathy when a Kendrick Perkins forearm shiver sends him flying into the first row. Hopefully he’ll land on Jack Nicholson’s face.

Also: please go away now, Hillary. And take your asshole husband with you. Has any ex-president ever done as much damage to a formerly favorable reputation as Bill Clinton? Christ, even Bush Sr. and Nixon had more dignified retirements.
